WallPaint.co.za is a free quote service for wall painting in South Africa. Whether one room needs a fresh coat, the whole house is peeling, the roof needs recoating before the storms, a flat roof leaks, or you just want the right paint at a fair price, one request reaches the painters and paint suppliers near you.
How it works
Fill in the tinting ticket at the bottom of the page: what needs painting, waterproofing or supplying, the surface and the state it is in, the size of the job, and how to reach you. For painting jobs the ticket measures up the walls, roof or floor and works out the m², the litres and the tins, with a rough figure from published prices. We send the request to painters, contractors and paint suppliers who work in your area, and they quote you directly. You compare and decide. It costs you nothing.
Everything we take requests for
From a bedroom repainted in a Centurion townhouse to a full exterior repaint on the Berea before the summer rain, a hail-damaged tiled roof recoated in Pretoria East, a leaking flat roof in Umhlanga, an office painted over a weekend in Sandton, forty tins of exterior acrylic for a complex in Bellville, or an airless sprayer for a contractor in Gqeberha.

Getting painting quotes you can compare
Two quotes to "paint the house" can mean very different jobs. Check that each one lists the preparation (washing, scraping, crack filling, mould treatment, priming bare plaster), the paint by type and grade rather than "good quality paint", the number of coats, which surfaces are included (walls, ceilings, trims, gutters, roof), how access is handled on a double storey, who supplies the paint, how long it will take and what guarantee is given, in writing. For paint and supplies, compare the price per m² of coverage, not just the price per tin. The cheapest quote that skips the primer or the second coat is rarely the cheaper one.
